Sunday: Sunday was Easter. The boys asked that their Easter surprises be hidden so they could do a treasure hunt. They read the clues to figure out where their baskets were and were thrilled to find nerf guns, video games, and some magic tricks and puzzles. Scavenger hunts are a great way to practice literacy skills! We had a nice morning together and then headed down to Georgia for Easter dinner with my parents. Funny enough, I took several videos of the scavenger hunt, but have no other pictures of that day! Sigh. Easter this year was sort of a flop- no fancy clothes, no church, no pictures! Monday: Monday was The Blessing Place and errands as usual. No Cub Scouts that evening though! No more Cub Scouts until the fall. Dexter did make some pretty epic Lego creations though.
